His Story
Njuguna Muchemi was born and raised in Limuru Constituency, in the heart of Kiambu County. Growing up among small-scale tea and vegetable farmers, he witnessed both the community's enormous potential and the systemic barriers that have long held it back.
From an early age, Njuguna understood that real change begins at the grassroots. He invested in local businesses, mentored youth groups, and became an active voice in community development forums. His work laid the foundation for the Limuru Empowerment Foundation (LEF) — a structured initiative to address youth unemployment, low agricultural productivity, and limited access to education and healthcare.
Leadership Journey
Njuguna has spent years building coalitions between community-based organisations, county government agencies, local schools, and private sector partners. He believes that sustainable development cannot be handed down from above — it must be built from within, with people as both the architects and the beneficiaries.
His campaign for Member of Parliament in 2027 is a direct extension of the work he has already started. He is not entering politics to begin a journey — he is seeking a larger platform to accelerate one already in motion.
